SLEITI Multi-Stakeholder Group


The SLEITI MSG is responsible for developing policies and programmes that aligned with the EITI Standard and reflect national priorities; oversee the EITI reporting process, approve work plans and effectively undertake outreach activities on necessary information that emanate from the EITI Process.

The Group is made up of representatives from government Ministries, Departments and Agencies; civil society organizations under the umbrella of the National Advocacy Coalition on Extractives (NACE), the Media, and Mining Companies. The Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh is the Champion of the EITI in Sierra Leone while the Minister of State in the Office of the Vice President serving as the group’s Chair. The role of the Champion includes but not limited to galvanizing political support for the process including ensuring that the EITI process is sustained and in good footing.

SLEITI Secretariat

The SLEITI Secretariat is the MSG’s arm charged with the responsibilities of implementing planned and approved activities in line with the MSG’s work plan and EITI Standard. Headed by a National Coordinator who serves as Secretary to the MSG, the Secretariat is composed of key professional staff drawn from various professional backgrounds required for the day-to-day operations of the Secretariat.

Our dedicated Team

Mohamed Baimba KoromaNational Coordinator
Mr. Mohamed Baimba Koroma is the National Coordinator at SLEITI Secretariat. He is responsible for providing support to the Government and the MSG to ensure that the EITI Standard is implemented successfully and to oversee the management of the SLEITI Secretariat.
Mohamed Fernando ContehProgram Manager
Mohamed Fernando Conteh liaise with the National Coordinator and the SLEITI communication committee to undertake outreach activities in line with SLEITI communication strategy.
Annie LansanaFinance and Administrative Manager
Annie Lansana is the finance and administrative manager. She prepares SLEITI annual budget and returns in addition to ensuring that the financial records of the secretariat are properly managed.
